Black developers represent less than 1% of the real estate development industry. This lack of representation presents an issue in the industry as well as in the way black communities are perceived and developed. A community that is not empowered to shape their physical environment is a key reason communities fall victim to displacement, loss of culture, and disinvestment. The Neighborhood Developer Community Investment Fund will build capacity for small scale developers throughout Greater Houston that focus on developing housing and commercial options that align with concurrent revitalization efforts.

Your investment goes directly towards creating a fund that will be used for construction financing, small business development, and capacity building programs.
